Growing up in a family of runners, it seemed like low-impact, sustained cardio was the most direct approach to “fitness”. I could never figure out why years of running was still uncomfortable, and I wasn’t improving. *Cue college* Taking part in a dedicated gym environment opened my eyes to a world of integrated workout styles – weights, resistance, agility. I was hooked! High rep, low weight work leaned, toned, and strengthened in a way I’d never experienced. When I got the itch to run again, I discovered those benefits carried over to improved overall athleticism.

As a people-person and avid mover, spending time with new faces and finding what format you’re missing is my favorite thing to do. There’s no such thing as a workout rut with so much left to try! Let’s hang.
